CIS Hardened Images are virtual machine emulations preconfigured to provide secure, on-demand, and scalable computing environments in the cloud.

CIS is home to both the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center® (MS-ISAC®), the go-to resource for cyber threat prevention, protection, response, and recovery for U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government entities, and the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center™ (EI-ISAC™), which supports the cybersecurity needs of U.S. State, Local and Territorial elections offices.

[aUseful.com] have been active members of the Center for Internet Security Community for over 10 years, contributing to several different Benchmark projects (including Cisco IOS and Microsoft Windows 2000/2003) and undertaking Professional Services engagements such as Beta Testing for the original release of the CIS-CAT Configuration Analysis Tool and the Windows 2003 Benchmarks.

Our lead consultant, Martin White, wrote the first release of the CIS Juniper JUNOS Security Configuration Benchmark and oversaw the CIS Community Consensus Process before the Benchmark was released in 2010, as well as serving as Editor for the Juniper Community for several years.

Martin is currently working with the CIS Juniper Community on a major overhaul of the JUNOS Benchmark - reviewing all recommendations against current best practice and new features as well as expanding device support across Juniper M, MX, T, PTX, EX, QFX, SRX and other platforms.
